I would like to be notified after a pipe gets the 'pump-failed' error consecutively.

One should be able to specify the number of consecutive 'pump_failed' errors before a notification is triggered.

  Good idea. We intend to implement this. One should be able to specify the number of consecutive pump-failed before a notification is triggered.
