Show progress status in an easier to use view

The processing/progress information shown in right upper corner for pipe view can be useful but hard to interpret.
E.g. "Processing (1 so far)" don't necessarily tell you much but hovering over it might give you some progress information. However if a pipe has background rescan and incremental runs at the same time, it is hard to tell what is happening with the pipe.
E.g. A tab for progress on the pipe UI that separate status of different processes happening on the same pipe would make a big difference.

Official comment
We have had discussions about how to improve the pipe progress status in the UI. This is a fairly major effort, but it is clearly something that would be very useful. We intend to make improvements here, but nothing specific has been decided yet.
