I would like tobe able to see the volume usage of a pipe. Ideally per all relevant breakdowns (per index, output dataset, execution log etc) but can live with "output dataset volume" at minimum as well.

I was asked "what is the amount of data in GB that Sesam will deliver" but seems like it is not possible to figure it out from the portal. The best i find is "Bytes used" which seems to be more then the pure output dataset volume.

Though it is possible to download and check the filesize, it is not feasible when the amount is high (which exactly is when we need the answer most)

  I think you should be able to see the data usage under the "storage"."log" property in the `/api/datasets/YOURDATASET?verbose=true` API. This is the physical footprint of the dataset log on disk, but in reality it will be bigger once serialized to JSON on the wire.
